I’ve had an excellent experience learning Chinese with this teacher. Every lesson is well organized, engaging, and tailored to my learning goals. They explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure in a way that is easy to understand, while also making sure I can actually use what I’ve learned in conversation. One thing I appreciate most is their patience. They never make me feel rushed or embarrassed when I make mistakes. Instead, they provide clear explanations, helpful corrections, and encouragement that keeps me motivated to improve. A great teacher with amazing energy! 😊 I was surprised by how much I learned during the trial class. Even though I'm a shy person, I find it easy to speak during our lessons because of the relaxed, stress-free atmosphere the teacher creates. :D Another big advantage is that switching between English and Chinese is seamless, which helps me a lot. I also love the materials provided after each class <3

Nancy is an incredibly patient teacher. Even when my child repeatedly forgets things, she kindly goes over them again and again. Her encouragement gives him the confidence to keep trying. Nancy also sends me a summary of the lesson so that I can review with my son again. Thank you!

In class today with Teacher Chloe, we reviewed my homework. Loved this exercise of filling in the blanks in a dialogue using a word bank full of vocabularies I had learned. I was able to practice speaking, writing, and reading doing this type of exercise. We moved on to reviewing and building on what I’ve learned already - recalling vocabularies and phrases I learned during our first lessons together. I was challenged this lesson and plan on practicing in areas of struggle in prep for my next class. I am still proud of how I did. Surprised myself on all I’ve retained. 😊 I absolutely enjoy learning from Teacher Chloe and look forward to growing more in the language with her help.

We are very grateful to have such a wonderful teacher who adjusts to our child’s learning pace. The teaching materials used in the lessons are dynamic and different from traditional textbooks, which our child really enjoys. Our child also listens to the song given as homework every day. We are very much looking forward to future lessons.

I really appreciate that my teacher can use pinyin well since I can't read characters yet. The sound association - compare and contrast with English phonetics - makes learning the usually boring phonetics sessions really fun.

Anna was such a pleasure to learn from! She was very communicative with my messages before I scheduled classes and created a custom class specifically for my needs while traveling in China. Her English is very fluent and she was able to explain complex Mandarin pronunciation tones by relating them to similar English sounds and easily explaining how to position my tongue, teeth, and lips while speaking. She is my lifesaver while I'm currently living in China! I highly recommend foreigners to book Anna's classes.

A very enjoyable first lesson. My pronunciation needs work, but the teacher is incredibly patient. I had trouble with some sounds, yet she clearly explained the differences in tones. I’m looking forward to the next lesson.
